Meeting reminders by email - sign me up!

The regular monthly "iMeetings" are usually held on the held on the fourth Monday of each month (except December) starting at 7:30 PM.

The agenda for the next iMeeting always appears on the agenda page.

The date of the next iMeeting always appears on the MUGOO home page.

However, some people like to be emailed a reminder once a month, before each iMeeting, and this is where you sign up!

How to get iMeeting reminder emails

MUGOO uses an email robot to send you meeting reminders. To get on the robot's list, send an email message to:

The SUBJECT and BODY of the email are ignored.

The email robot will will ask you for an email confirmation.

How to stop getting reminder emails

To leave the robot's list, send an email message to:

The SUBJECT and BODY of the email are ignored.

The email robot will send you an email confirmation.

Privacy!

To ensure your privacy, the MUGOO-notices list is "distribution only". Only MUGOO moderators can send out messages. No one other than "listmom" can see your email address. Your address will not be used for any other purpose.

Problems?

All mail is processed by an email robot, so flowery requests (Hello, my name is Fred and I would like to subscribe to the MUGOO list...) are just ignored. Sometimes the robot will send you a rude message pointing out your error.

If you need help from a human, send your questions to "listmom" using this form .

The most common problem is an incorrect email return address. If your address is wrong, the robot can't send you any mail. If you do not receive a reply from the robot after two attempts at least a day apart, contact your service provider to see if you have a return address problem.

If any mail sent to your address is refused for any reason, your name and address are immediately dropped from the list.

If your local mail system is unavailable during a robot broadcast, the robot will keep trying to send the mail for up to two days.
